Participants learnt teaching techniques for safe, manageable and effective practical lessons, as well as practising a progressive approach to teaching food preparation skills.
The day consisted of hands-on cookery practice, including making bread and having a go at preparing cookery lessons suitable for the different ages and abilities of children.
Afterwards, one participant shared: “It was fantastic, delivered with such enthusiasm and the knowledge throughout the day was amazing. Thank you so much, it was thoroughly enjoyable, I feel so much more confident.”
