In November they celebrated Cook and Share by creating a recipe book, which featured recipes from pupils and their families, and distributing it to pupils and their families via ClassDojo. Since then, they’ve been encouraging pupils to try out recipes at home with their siblings and parents.
Alongside these milestones, the school has been introducing growing and cooking activities throughout the school day across all year groups. Pupils have been planting coriander seeds in paper pots and are looking forward to cooking with fresh coriander and trying it as part of their school meals. One pupil shared: "I have enjoyed the growing, planting and learning about compost."
