And the winner is...

RDD school lunch table

The winner of our Roast Dinner Day competition is St Paul with St Luke C of E primary school. The Tower Hamlets school have bagged themselves £100 gardening vouchers as a prize for the best Roast Dinner Day photo. We loved seeing parents and pupils getting together to enjoy a delicious and healthy roast – the leafy green veg looked especially yummy!

A big congratulations also goes out to Contract Services catering , who got the school involved during National School Meals Week, and William White Meats, who supported the event.

Pupils loved inviting their parents in to have lunch with them, and it was also a chance for the school’s caterers and meat supplier to take a break from the kitchen and share a meal with the pupils they work hard for every day.

RDD parent and child

Nicola Horton, Headteacher at St Paul with St Luke, said, “We believe in nurturing and welcoming everyone and teaching respect and kindness at lunchtime, and sitting down to eat together is a big part of that. The pupils really enjoyed their roast and especially liked sitting with their parents and visitors.”

Congratulations once again to everyone at St Paul with St Luke.
